A Long Break

On friday November 16th I took my long 8 1/2 hour journey to Laramie, Wyoming. I left around 2:30 with this kid named Tyler and his girlfriend Jessica. They were both headed home for thanksgiving break in Cheyenne just an hour south of Laramie. Right outside Rexburg we got pulled over for doing 89mph in a 65. He thought it was 75 but either way he was speeding. The rest of the trip was good. For the most part they listened to my iPod so it was good music the whole way. I took an hour nap, and the car was really cold so I was greatful i kept my blanket up front! We arrived in Laramie around 11:30, and it was so nice to see Del! I missed him so much! It was really fun to spend a lot of time together. On saturday we went with some of his friends to the mountains, while some idiots who can't drive in snow or mud got stuck a billion times, holding the other vehicles up. I had to pee so bad, so I went to the woods, it was good I guess...It was also nice to see Del like every hour and a half or so on his breaks! He on sunday monday and tuesday he worked so i only got to see him when passing by...but it was worth it. Mostly when he wasn't around I'd do some homework, or watch some trash tv shows...to get caught up! hah, but yes, it was good times. On wednesday he surprised me with no work when i thought he had too...Originally we weren't supposed to leave until 1 am, but we got out of there by 7pm getting into Rexburg at the unruley hour of 4am...The next morning was thanksgiving, and our 11month anniversary! My sister and I made some apple bars and we went to Blackfoot for dinner. Around 5pm Del and I were so tired, and came back to Rex to rest up...After a nap, I drove his truck (cos I need all the practice I can get) to rent a movie. We watched Reign over me...it was really good! @ the 4 way stops coming home i had some trouble getting started, and was really embarrassed with the cars waiting behind me...but we arrived safe. The next morning my sister and I went to IF to do some shopping on Black Friday, and Del and my brother-in-law andrew went to Rexburg Motorsports to get Del a sled. He ended up getting a BRAND new artic cat M8. He's pretty excited. That night around 6pm we all loaded up and headed for provo. We stayed at Drew and Cassies' on night 1, but del stayed with Matt (because of lame rules) but it turned out to be okay. The next morning we went to breakfast, then to the mall, then dropped all our stuff off at another location in Lehi, where we would be staying the 2nd night. We went the Temple square then, and there was way too many people. Del was kind enough to take a few pictures with me, and then we went to dinner at Wingers. We had the opportunity to meet up with Jake Phau, a missionary who knew us while serving in Sandpoint a few months before we left for college...Well that's my update, we're not both back at home, and i miss him terribly! I seriously want to jump in my car and drive there...I hate being apart! Enjoy the photos!
